I am struck by Rhonda's sense of surprise and then joy at her "psychic discoveries." These kinds of emotional reactions seem to be common when people discover that they can learn about the world "out there" by "going within." Another feature of her story is the sense of bonding with others that she experienced. It is common, I believe, to think of "psychic training" as involving some kind of esoteric exercise, whereas the training seems to generate a lot of interpersonal sharing and discovery of inter-connecting.
