Science and Psychic Phenomena: The Fall of the House of Skeptics. By Chris Carter

A factual and conscientious argument against materialism's vehement denial of psi phenomena that explores the scandalous history of parapsychology since the scientific revolution of the 17th century. It provides reproducible evidence from scientific research that telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, and psychokinesis are real, and shows that skepticism of psi phenomena is based more on a religion of materialism than on hard science

Everyday Meditation: 100 Daily Meditations for Health, Stress Relief, and Everyday Joy. By Tobin Blake

Meditation is the conscious act of turning around and facing the other way -- inward. For just a little while each day, you sit down, close your eyes to the outside world, and turn your attention toward the inside world, where your core self, which is a direct extension of Source, still exists. The core self is the original creative spark from which grew everything in your life as you know it. To use an analogy, it is the foundation upon which your home is built.
New World Mindfulness. By Donald McGown & Marc S. Micozzi
The Westerner who is attracted to Zen and who would understand it deeply must have one indispensable qualification: he must understand his own culture so thoroughly that he is no longer swayed by its premises unconsciously. He must really have come to terms with the Lord God Jehovah and with his Hebrew-Christian conscience so that he can take it or leave it without fear or rebellion.
Living in the Light: 25th Anniversary Edition. By Shakti Gawain
Learning to trust your intuition is an art form, and like all other art forms, it takes practice to perfect. You don't learn to do it overnight. You have to be willing to make "mistakes," to try something and fail, then try something different the next time -- and sometimes, perhaps, even embarrass yourself or feel foolish. Your intuition is always correct, but it takes time to learn to hear it correctly.

Concept of God and the Power of Prayer and Meditation, By M.B. Sharan

God is a word that has interested human beings from time immemorial. Nobody really knows how long human beings have been thinking about God. There are so many theories and abstractions that there would be no way to record them.

What I Learned at the 2011 International Alchemy Conference, By Lorrie Kazan

What I hadn't consciously realized as I entered the darkened, windowless rooms of the vibrant Long Beach Convention Center, was that I was entering yet another transformational process just by showing up.  Speakers were passionate, educated, dedicated, and there were so many of them that a number of different workshops were scheduled at the same time.  (You can purchase cds and dvds.)  This conference gave far more than your money's worth.

From whence do we gain our inspiration? From the clouds? Sometimes. The notion that there exists a greater self is almost universal. There is an inner intuition regarding a consciousness or awareness that has a reach beyond our eyes, a wisdom beyond our understanding. If we could only get out of our own way! Our habit thoughts block the passage of the inspirational flow. How can we reach the mountain top of our awareness? A significant number of folks use writing to draw out the inspiration and record it simultaneously. Some form of spontaneous writing, material emanating directly from the unconscious mind of the writer and being recorded as it appears, has provided mankind with some of its most influential sources of inspiration. I'm thinking of such classics as The Koran, The Prophet, The Urantia Book, Johnathan Livingston Seagull, A Course in Miracles, and most recently, Conversations with God.

The Heart of Higher Mind
By Henry Reed
The phrase, "when hearts are joined, no words are needed," perhaps anticipates those theorists who claim that there is but one root consciousness shared by all creation, such that a heart-directed intention to empathize with another seems sufficient to provide the desired information. What gives intentionality such seemingly magical powers? We must continue to search within ourselves for answers to such questions and share our impressions with one another.
For now, it would seem that the power of intention lies in the heart.
